The introduction of lower speed limits on major roadways will begin on April 14, according to Abu Dhabi officials. There was a 20 kmph reduction in the restrictions.
The following reductions have been made:
- The speed on the Abu Dhabi-Sweihan route (E20) was lowered from 120 kmph to 100 kmph.
- Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed International Road (E11): 140 kmph instead of 160 kmph
