'Sehatona' mobile app launched for Abudhabi residents to manage all their healthcare services

Residents of Abu Dhabi can now access and manage all of the city's healthcare services via an app. Launched by the city's Department of Health, the 'Sehatona' mobile application acts as a single, integrated platform that makes it easier for people to access a variety of healthcare services and manage their health-related matters.

Users may schedule and manage appointments with healthcare providers using the app, and they can decide whether to consult remotely or in person. They are also capable of handling family members' and their own health matters. Users can view test results, prescription information, and immunization data by using the Malaffi platform to access medical records. Family files are also connected to the platform. 

Furthermore, the app will provide participants in the Emirates Genome Programme with access to their genomic findings for the first time, enabling them to make educated decisions regarding their lifestyle and health based on their genetic composition. 

The application was revealed at Gitex Global 2024.

With the use of an AI-powered symptom checker, users can independently assess their symptoms online. Users will benefit from knowing whether to visit an urgent care facility or the ER.

The app tracks users' sleep patterns and step count by connecting to smartwatches, which improves user experience. 

In addition, the app offers suggestions for individual health objectives based on the user's past movement and activity, encouraging them to lead healthy lifestyles and enhance their general well-being.

A number of cutting-edge features will shortly be added by the authorities. The comprehensive periodic examination program 'Efhes' will offer quick access to primary healthcare alternatives and services, as well as an advanced model powered by artificial intelligence to maintain a healthy body.
