14 Nov 2024
NewsA new Golden Visa programme has been introduced for teachers in both public and private schools in Ras Al Khaimah. The Ras Al Khaimah Department of Knowledge (RAK DOK) has announced that this initiative offers self-sponsored long-term residency to qualified educators who fulfill specific criteria.
The programme is available for two primary groups of educators:
- School leaders: Including principals, vice-principals, and directors.
- Teachers: All certified educators working in public and private schools in Ras Al Khaimah.
The regulatory authority will simplify the application procedure to ensure that applicants meet specific requirements. These criteria include at least three years of residency and employment in Ras Al Khaimah, a relevant advanced degree, and proven contributions to improving the school’s performance.
Eligible educators will need to provide an official appointment letter, proof of their educational qualifications, documentation confirming their residency and employment, and evidence of their positive impact on school performance.
After all required documents are submitted, the RAK Department of Knowledge (RAK DOK) will review them and confirm the educator's eligibility. Once approved, the educator will be directed to visit the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP) to complete the Golden Visa processing.
