Travellers from the UAE can soon explore Musandam from October 6 by a new bus route between Musandam and Ras Al Khaimah

With winter approaching, visitors from the UAE will be able to easily explore Musandam's stunning landscape and enjoy a plunge in the blue waters surrounded by hills. A new bus service between Musandam and Ras Al Khaimah will commence on October 6, 2023.

Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA) has announced the start of the first international public bus, which will connect Ras Al Khaimah with the Governorate of Musandam in the Sultanate of Oman. The bus service will commence from Ras Al Khaimah's major bus station (Al Dhait South) and will stop in the Emirates at Al Rams and Shaam. The service in Musandam Governorate will begin and terminate at Wilayat of Khasab, with stops in Tibaat, Wilayat of Bukha, Harf, and Qada. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, two excursions have been scheduled at 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., with a total travel time of roughly 3 hours. The travel costs Dh50 and may be booked on RAKTA's official website, the RAKBUS application, on the bus, and at the bus station.

RAKTA and the Municipality of Musandam inked a deal for this service, on August 30, 2023.
