Second phase of Dubai Horizons project has been completed making it simpler to deliver items using drones

Dubai Municipality stated that the second part of the "Dubai Horizons" project is complete, making it simpler to deliver items using drones throughout the city. Using a collaborative platform for stakeholders and 3D GIS, the project will include low-altitude airspace into construction standards. Using three dimensions, including depth, 3D GIS allows urban planners to map out the actual environment. 

Vertical airport sites—imagine a standard airport twisted 90 degrees—will be mapped using 3D GIS in this project. Drone transportation of products and other air delivery services will be made easier in Dubai with the usage of micro-vertical airports and runways.

Convenient options such as speed, uninterrupted travel, and lack of traffic make air delivery a viable choice. Nonetheless, businesses that want to deliver items to clients also need to consider the necessity of cybersecurity protocols for managing sensitive data, including client whereabouts and personal information.
