New category of commercial motorcycle plates will be introduced in Abu Dhabi from January 1

The integrated transport centre (AD Mobility) announced on Friday that a new category of commercial motorbike plates will be implemented in Abu Dhabi beginning January 1, 2025.

Individual bicycles will continue to be marked with red plates, while commercial bicycles will be marked in yellow.

AD Mobility emphasized that owners must renew their bicycle plates when their ownership expires, when the plate is replaced, or when the number changes. This effort seeks to improve the organization of transportation and road safety in Abu Dhabi.
