Ruler of Sharjah announces that there will no longer be an age requirement for employment in the government sector

NewsHis Majesty Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has stated that there would be no age limit for government jobs. According to the Social Security Fund Law, persons over the age of 18 and under the age of 60 can work in the government sector. Any additional age limits for work in the public sector will be lifted.
He has also directed the employment of 45 determined individuals in emirate government departments and institutions. As the 45 young men and women possess bachelor, high school, and lower secondary degrees, the directive will be executed in collaboration with Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, Sharjah Department of Human Resources, and the University of Sharjah.
