The 38-day Dubai Sopping Festival (DSF), in which retail hotspots around the city tempt consumers with bargains, competitions, and savings, will kick off on Friday, December 8. It runs through Sunday, January 14, and is an excellent time to stock up on electronics and clothing you've been eyeing.
The festivities begin with a ceremony and concert featuring regional music icons, as well as cultural and family-friendly acts and live entertainment. The celebration also involves fireworks and drone exhibitions, and it coincides with the appearance of Christmas markets in Dubai.
One of the city's most well-known festive occasions The Christmas market in Madinat Jumeirah will open on Friday, December 15. It'll be the place to go if you want a cup of mulled grape, a wonderful abra ride, plenty of mince pies, and Christmas melodies. It'll be free to enter and open from 3pm until late on Mondays through Thursdays, and midday until late on Fridays through Sundays.
A 36-foot Christmas tree, a live band, and a gingerbread house will be among the other attractions.
