Automated Rapid Transport is being piloted by the Integrated Transport Centre Abudhabi

The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) is piloting a three-carriage system known as Automated Rapid Transport (ART). Abu Dhabi's intelligent, eco-friendly public transit system expands people's alternatives for mobility. The Government of Abu Dhabi Media Office stated on Thursday that "ITC teams have built a highly efficient and fully integrated infrastructure, ensuring the highest standards of safety, comfort, and quality for customers."

A hybrid of a bus and a tram is an ART. In addition to having seats on both sides, the carriages provide straps for people who choose to stand. It is driven by an individual. The trains will travel about 27 kilometres on routes that pass through 25 stops during the experimental programme. The buses go along Zayed the First Street and Corniche Street on Abu Dhabi Island as they travel from Al Reem Mall to Marina Mall.

The Sheikh Hazza bin Sultan Mosque, Marina Square, the Galleria Al Maryah Island, Qasr Al Hosn, Sheikha Fatima Park, Khalidiya Park, NMC Specialty and Lifeline hospitals and Corniche are a few of the stops.

The buses travel on the island of Abu Dhabi's principal routes, adhering to the traffic laws that are in effect in the capital. It is open right now from Friday through Sunday.

10 a.m. and 2 p.m., respectively, are the first and last trips from Reem Mall.

Arrival at Marina Mall at 11 a.m. and departure at 3 p.m., respectively.
