Advertisements and promotional campaigns of business community can now be displayed on school buses

Dubai's Road and Transport Authority said on Friday that business community adverts and promotional campaigns can now be shown on school buses, providing investment options for school bus operators. 

By using advertising areas inside and outside school buses, the program seeks to give school transport operators an extra source of income.

RTA stated that these commercials must, nevertheless, go by strict guidelines and specifications to guarantee that they suitably market goods and deals while defending the rights and safety of students.

Adel Shakri, Director of the Planning and Business Development Department at the Public Transport Corporation at the Roads and Transport Authority, outlined the requirements and standards for advertising that must be followed. He stated that ads must be appropriate for students and promote morality, ethics, and appropriate behaviors in accordance with UAE laws. The RTA website is the place to apply for an advertising permission, and the Dubai Municipality must approve the material.
