Wizz Air marks a new era of ultra-low-fare travel on long-haul routes with its new Airbus

A new era of ultra-low-cost long-haul flying has begun with Wizz Air announcing the inaugural trip for its new Airbus A321XLR (Extra Long Range) aircraft. 

Wizz Air is scheduled to launch daily direct service between Milan and Abu Dhabi on June 2, 2025. The airline stated that this route is the first of several that would take advantage of the Airbus A321XLR's increased range and efficiency, revolutionising and making international travel more affordable than ever.
