Witness the fusion of culture and creativity at the Dhai Dubai Festival from January 26 to February 4

Expo City Dubai will hold the first-ever Dhai Dubai Light Art Festival from January 26 to February 4. Witness the fusion of culture and creativity at this exhibition that features breathtaking light installations and artwork.

Take part in the visual spectacle in Al Wasl Plaza to celebrate light, art, and traditions. With a mission of cultivating local talent and showcasing their creations to the globe, this 10-day event promises to provide an immersive and enlightening experience which will give visitors a unique perspective on the UAE’s deep-rooted values and way of life. Additionally, you may register for seminars and hear insightful lectures given by professionals.

Mattar Bin Lahej is one of the most well-known figures to participate in the destination's first-ever event connecting art, culture, and light. Renowned for creating the calligraphic exterior of the Museum of the Future, he has been revealed as one of the seven well-known Emirati artists exhibiting projects that combine modern and traditional artistic styles during the festival.

Dr. Mohamed Yousef, Dr. Najat Makki, Abdulla Almulla, Maitha Hamdan, Khalid Alshafar, and Reem Al Ghaith are among the others. 

The Dhai Dubai Light Festival is being planned in collaboration with AGB Creative, the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), and the event's curators and designers.

The event will not only turn Al Wasl Plaza into a glowing beauty, but it will also include Emirati artists' creations and serve as a platform for skillful light-transformation into a creative and cultural narrative language.

Engaging lectures with local and worldwide talent about the relationship between art, culture, and light will also be available, along with interactive activities for both young and old.

A carefully chosen selection of delectable treats will be available for anyone who would want dine with the performers.

Along with the usual Expo City eateries, such as Al Fanar, Ajeene, ECCO Pizza and Pasta, Gup and shup, Safar, Yamanote Collective, and others, there will be Dubai food enterprises on site.
