Watch Jewellery Middle East Show in Sharjah; the event is being held from 31 January to February 4

EventThe glittering and spectacular annual Watch & Jewellery Middle East Show began in Sharjah on Wednesday. This year's exhibits included one of the biggest emeralds in the world, a lengthy traditional Emirati necklace, and all-gold automobiles. Priceless jewels and some of the greatest showstoppers from over 500 luxury brands and enterprises in the UAE and throughout the world are on display. The event will continue into the weekend till February 4.
The exhibition will feature special 2024 designs from many top designers for the first time this year. Shoppers flocked to the event on its opening day to scoop up the newest collections as well as exclusive deals and discounts.
Four distinctive artefacts on display during the exhibition were the show stoppers.
A British racing bike was transformed into a masterpiece – the Gold Cycle by Romaizan Jewellery in partnership with Leronza London. The bike, which is valued at about Dh1.5 million, will draw in collectors with an eye for art.
10,244 crystals have been placed on a bespoke Ninebot Kickscooter that has a pure gold finish. The Gold Scooter on display boasts a 300W motor and cutting-edge features like cruise control for a smooth ride. The cost of this one-of-a-kind item is a little over Dh2 million.
Prince of Kafubu which is a 19,000-carat emerald stone, which comes from Zambia's Grizzly Mines, is on show during the expo. The Swiss laboratory Gubelin has validated that, at a massive 4 kilogramme, it is one of the world's biggest emeralds.
