Vehicles impounded by Sharjah authorities for more than six months have four days to settle their obligations

Owners of automobiles, machines, motorbikes, and bicycles seized by Sharjah authorities for more than six months have four days to clear their debts – or risk losing the confiscated goods entirely.

Sharjah officials detailed the offer in a social media post.

"Owners of impounded vehicles, machinery, motorcycles, and bicycles by Sharjah City municipality for more than six months and who have not followed the necessary procedures to release them are kindly requested to approach the inspection and control department, Industrial Area 5, within four days of the date of publication of this notice to rectify the reasons for impoundment and receive the impounded properties." Otherwise, the municipality will be forced to sell them at public auction following the four-day period on June 24/7/2023," according to the article.
