Upcoming bridge from Sheikh Zayed Road to Dubai Harbour will slash travel time to the seafront destination

NewsTravel time to the waterfront will be reduced from twelve minutes to three. This will be possible with the upcoming bridge that will be connecting Sheikh Zayed Road to Dubai Harbour. There will be two lanes on the 1,500-meter bridge in each direction. This bridge would act as a direct entry/exit point for Dubai Harbour, according to Mattar Al Tayer, director general and chairman of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). 6,000 cars can fit through it in one hour.
The bridge connects Dubai Harbour Street to the fifth intersection on Sheikh Zayed Road, which is close to the American University in Dubai. According to Al Tayer, it crosses over King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street's intersection and goes beyond the intersection of Al Naseem Street and Al Falak Street to Dubai Harbour. With a runway of 770 metres, Skydive Dubai is in Dubai Harbour, wedged between Bluewaters Island and Palm Jumeirah.
