
On Thursday, the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates (CBUAE) declared that the financial infrastructure is prepared to introduce Jaywan, the nation's first domestic card, both domestically and internationally.
Introduced by Al Etihad Payments, a subsidiary of the Central Bank, the card will assist businesses and individual consumers in cutting down on payment expenses.
"The UAE's domestic card program will be implemented both domestically and internationally." The regulator announced on Thursday that Jaywan is the first domestic card program to be introduced in accordance with the UAE's digital transformation policy, enhancing the nation's standing as a major international center for digital payments.
