This festive December will see the opening of the UAE's first brewery in Abu Dhabi. The gastropub and microbrewery Craft by Side Hustle will soon open in the Galleria Al Maryah Island.
The first craft alcohol brand in the UAE is called Side Hustle, and it can be found at liquor stores.
This will be the first establishment in the UAE to serve beer made on-site. A "Fermentation Permit" was included in a circular published by the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi in 2021 as part of its instructions for the licencing process for alcoholic drinks.
The brewery claims to have a variety of offerings, including the first genuine British cask ale in the UAE. In addition, it will serve Southern smokehouse and pub fare along with house-brewed grains, hops, and drinks.
