UAE’s first and only regulated lottery officially launched; inaugural live draw 0n December 14

The first and only regulated lottery company in the United Arab Emirates has formally opened for business. The first live draw, with a Dh100 million "Lucky Day" big prize, is set for December 14. The Game LLC, an Abu Dhabi-based operator licensed by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) in July of this year, is in charge of running the UAE Lottery.

For UAE citizens who are 18 years of age or older, the lottery offers a "exciting range of games." Participants must be physically present in the nation at the time of play in order to compete in the games.

You can now buy tickets on the UAE Lottery's website, theuaelottery.ae. There is a Dh100 million jackpot in the "Lucky Day" game, and seven "Lucky Chance IDs" are "guaranteed" to win Dh100,000 apiece. The price for entry is Dh50.

Participants can earn Dh100,000, Dh1,000,000, Dh100,000, Dh1,000, or Dh100 million, depending on the numbers they match. Using a random number generator, the "Easy Pick" option does the work for participants, or they can choose their own lottery numbers.

Players must first register online in order to play. Although games aren't yet sold offline in stores, The Game "hopes" to add this feature soon.
