
The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai (IACAD) has stated that the first 3D-printed mosque in the United Arab Emirates is anticipated to open in the second quarter of 2026.
The construction of the mosque, which was initially announced in January 2023, has begun.
According to the Mosque Affairs Sector of IACAD, 55 new mosques with a combined capacity of 40,961 attendees will be built in Dubai at a cost of Dh475 million. Additionally, 54 new plots of land have been set aside for future mosque development. At a cost of $172 million, 24 additional mosques with a combined capacity of 13,911 attendees were constructed as part of expansion initiatives.
