UAE residents to book a slot on Nusuk App to perform Umrah

The availability of affordable Umrah packages and e-visas has encouraged many UAE citizens to make the journey a few times a year. But as Muslims everywhere get ready for the Haj pilgrimage, which takes place from June 14–19, it is now required for UAE citizens to reserve a time slot on the Nusuk App in order to do Umrah. In addition, only those with current Umrah visas will be permitted to make the pilgrimage.

Following Saudi Arabia's announcement of entry date of Umrah visa holders as May 23, 2024, and exit date as June 6, 2024, for holders of Umrah visas, pilgrims are keen to take advantage of this chance to make the journey.

Due to time constraints, residents who wish to conduct Umrah before the Haj season must begin arranging as soon as possible. Prior to purchasing tickets, they must reserve Umrah slots via the Nusuk app.

Those who break the rules face harsh consequences, which can include up to two years in prison and fine amounting to SAR 50,000.

Certain airports, including Jeddah, Madinah, Yanbu, and Taif, are accessible to pilgrims holding Umrah visas, according to Umrah operators.

UAE-based ravellers must now obtain the influenza vaccination prior to starting their pilgrimage.
