As part of an initiative led by Dubai Police, over 100 citizens of the UAE, from a variety of countries, came together to give blood. With the help of the Positive Spirit, Dubai Police Health Club, and Navi Sports Club, the campaign aimed to encourage voluntary blood donation within the population.
The Positive Spirit Council's director, Fatima Buhajeer, emphasized the value of blood donation and the necessity of community involvement in this humanitarian endeavor.
Positive Spirit volunteers gave information on the many health advantages of blood donation. These include reviving the circulatory system, boosting the effectiveness and renewing the activities of bone marrow cells, lowering blood pressure, relieving headaches, and boosting vitality and general well-being. Donating blood also helps to lower oxidative stress and eliminate oxidants by increasing antioxidant enzymes such as "superoxide dismutase."
In order to guarantee everyone's safety and wellbeing, volunteers also gave individualised advise, performed medical examinations, and made medical recommendations.
