UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has met with the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the G20 Summit

The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, met during the G20 Summit. The President arrived India, prior to the G20 conference that was scheduled to take place in the capital. Leaders from around the world have travelled to the nation for the 18th summit, themed "One Earth, One Family, One Future."

India, which is holding the G20 presidency this year, invited the UAE to attend the meeting as a guest nation. This confirms the UAE's commitment to positively contributing to the G20's work while putting an emphasis on the goals the Indian presidency had set forth for the summit. In accordance with the shared objectives and aspirations of the G20 and COP28, the UAE will concentrate on its crucial role in advancing global climate action as the host of the United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP28) in 2023.
