UAE passport is worlds most powerful; visa-free access to 180 destinations worldwide

According to the most recent Passport Index by financial consulting firm Arton Capital, the UAE passport has solidified its status as the most powerful in the world.

UAE passport holders now have visa-free access to 180 countries globally, adding another point to their global score. The passport's scope has been further extended by recent revisions that allow access into 127 countries without a visa.

Emiratis can also travel to more than 90% of the world's countries with little limitation because 53 countries offer visa-on-arrival, or eVisa, access. Only 18 of the 198 recognized nations in the world demand pre-approved visas.

The Passport Index rates passports according to how many nations its holders are permitted to enter without a visa.
