UAE national day: free entry to Sharjah's public museums for Eid Al Etihad celebrations

NewsAll public museums in Sharjah city, Kalba, and Khorfakkan will provide free entry on December 1 and 2 to celebrate the UAE’s 53rd National Day.
The Sharjah Museums Authority (SMA) has announced a range of cultural events and activities across its museums from Saturday, November 23, to December 3. These initiatives aim to “enhance appreciation of Emirati heritage and promote connections with the nation’s cultural legacy.”
The celebrations will commence on November 23 at Hisn Khorfakkan, offering visitors traditional performances and maritime-themed exhibits from 5 pm to 9 pm. On November 26, Bait Al Naboodah will host an event featuring heritage workshops, traditional games, and Emirati cuisine from 5 pm to 8 pm.
From December 1 to 3, the Sharjah Maritime Museum will present live performances and family-friendly activities, while on December 2, Bait Sheikh Saeed bin Hamad Al Qasimi in Kalba will hold a celebratory event from 5 pm to 10 pm, showcasing cultural exhibits, music, and workshops.
Furthermore, museums under SMA's umbrella, such as the Sharjah Archaeology Museum, Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilisation, and Sharjah Calligraphy Museum, will conduct specialised workshops and activities highlighting the UAE's cultural identity. These activities offer visitors an opportunity to delve into Emirati traditions and artistic heritage.
