UAE: Liwa International Festival set to begin soon with fireworks and thrilling desert activities

The vibrant festival is set to take place at Al Dhafra from December 13, 2024, to January 4, 2025. Guests can anticipate an exhilarating program featuring dazzling fireworks displays, captivating live music, and a range of thrilling desert activities, making it a must-visit event this season.

The Liwa International Festival presents visitors with a diverse range of unique experiences, featuring a main stage for musical performances and celebrations, numerous dining options, a crafts market, interactive workshops, family-friendly entertainment, a dedicated children's play area, and local vendors displaying top Emirati products.

Visitors will have access to a range of hospitality and accommodation options, from luxurious units to desert lodgings and tents adorned with traditional Sadu fabric and safari tents.

Kicking off on December 13, the festival will begin with a two-day car exhibition, setting the stage for an exciting lineup of competitions and activities. The final three days will feature the adrenaline-pumping Hill Climbing Championship, a crowd favorite and highlight of the event. Traditional sports will also take center stage, with exciting competitions in falconry, camel racing, horse racing, as well as pigeon shooting and archery.
