Abu Dhabi: e& UAE on Wednesday unveiled its Kids SIM Card and Parental Control Service, aimed at enhancing children's online safety.
The announcement was made during the ongoing WeProtect Global Summit 2024, hosted by the Ministry of Interior on December 4 and 5 in Abu Dhabi, which focuses on combating online child exploitation.
The Kids SIM Card offers a secure way for children to stay connected while encouraging educational engagement. It comes with two customizable plans, featuring local minutes, 24/7 data access, complimentary data for educational content, and parental controls that allow specific call restrictions. Parents can acquire the Kids SIM Card through e& UAE outlets and activate it via the e& UAE app.
Furthermore, e& UAE introduced the Parental Control Service, providing an intuitive platform for parents to monitor and regulate their children's internet usage both at home and on the go.
