The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has alerted drivers to the potential hazards posed by foggy conditions early Saturday morning. The weather authority issued a red alert, informing the public that horizontal visibility could significantly decrease in certain coastal and inland areas until 9:30 AM. In a message on X, Abu Dhabi Police advised motorists to take extra care due to the low visibility associated with the fog. Drivers are encouraged to adhere to the changing speed limits indicated on electronic information boards.
Temperatures in the internal regions are expected to rise to as high as 38ºC, while mountainous areas may experience lows of around 15ºC. Nighttime humidity will increase and persist until Sunday morning, potentially leading to the formation of fog or mist in both coastal and inland areas. The country can expect light to moderate winds, with speeds reaching up to 35 km/h, occasionally becoming stronger.
