UAE-India travel at relatively lower airfares from late January

UAE-India travel will be at relatively lower airfares from late January all the way up to mid-March. The next significant increase in ticket prices will occur during Ramadan, which falls in March and April of the following year. By then, the UAE-Indian lines will see a sharp increase in fares, which will last until far after Eid Al Fitr, which is probably in the second week of April.

Travellers planning to India may take advantage of the lowest airfares available in February and even for a significant portion of March. For those entering the UAE for business, leisure, or employment reasons from any of the Indian places, the same more economical tariffs would be applicable.

With current air arrangements, 66,000 weekly tickets are available from Dubai to more than 15 Indian destinations. As of right now, every airline serving the UAE and India on this route has used up all of its seat reservations.

Fares on key UAE-India routes:

  • Tickets on the extremely crowded South Indian route, however, continue to cost much more than Dh1,000 from January to March. Prices from Dubai to Kochi range from Dh1,355 to Dh1,422.
  • The cost of travel to Bengaluru ranges from Dh1,106 to Dh1,136.
  • After January 2024, tickets to Chennai will cost Dh931, and after February 15th, it will be Dh854.
  • Economy return tickets from Mumbai to Dubai start at Dh931 in January 2024, down from an average peak of Dh1,143. Similar patterns are also being seen by those in New Delhi.
