UAE has its first-ever women-only jobs portal - Women First Jobs; aimed toward promoting gender equality

The UAE has launched the country's first-ever employment platform exclusively for women. The goal of Women First Jobs is to encourage gender parity and equality in fields where female representation has lagged. It will seek to guarantee parity in income and employment prospects in industries including IT, banking, hospitality, and logistics.

Both junior and intermediate management roles as well as senior-level responsibilities are catered to by the platform. The president of the UAE Gender Balance Council, Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, declared last year that gender parity has always been a top objective for the nation.

The UAE's efforts to accomplish this aim should be aided by the initiative of the recently launched employment portal. The founders of Women First Jobs claim that the lack of a database of qualified women and the impersonality of hiring practices have been further obstacles in the employment market.

Additionally, any women returning from maternity leave will have access to additional mentorship and training through the new employment site. It also seeks to give Emiratis greater chances to assist enterprises in meeting their localization goals.

Women Only Jobs will donate to international non-governmental organisations that promote the development of women and children for each successful job placement. Priyanka Sengar, who has worked for many global companies in the UAE and India, launched the employment portal.
