UAE has approved a new housing policy allowing citizens to replace, resell their houses, transfer mortgage

A new housing policy that permits residents to sell or replace their homes and transfer mortgages has been approved by the UAE. Additionally, the initiative would see Emiratis accepted for flexible financing plans. This was announced on Monday during a Cabinet meeting presided over by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice-President, Prime Minister, and ruler of Dubai of the United Arab Emirates.

The Sheikh Zayed Housing Program's mortgage transfer and housing aid conditions were authorised by the Cabinet. The action is a component of the UAE's initiatives to give Emiratis access to decent homes. Housing aid recipients can now apply to the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure to transfer their mortgage from one home to another.

The UAE Government Annual Meetings will take place in Abu Dhabi on November 7-8, with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and the President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, serving as chairs. More than 500 dignitaries, including ministers, senior officials, and leaders of UAE executive boards, will attend the sessions.

The creation of a federal organisation to bolster the nation's standing as a major international centre for the pharmaceutical and medical sectors was also authorised by the Cabinet. Emirates Drug Establishment will encourage pharmaceutical investments and advance research and development in this field.

Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi serves as the establishment's chairman of the board of directors, while Dr. Maha Barakat serves as vice-chairperson. The federal government is independent financially and administratively.

The organisation will guarantee the availability, efficacy, quality, and safety of pharmaceutical and medical goods while also promoting their manufacture and exportation.

In addition to pharmaceuticals, healthcare, medical devices, food supplements, cosmetics, veterinary supplies, fertilisers, pesticides, agricultural additives, plant growth regulators, and genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and their products, it will be in charge of overseeing and controlling these medical products.

An comprehensive national framework for pharmaceutical research, including clinical and non-clinical investigations and trials, will be prepared by the institution.
