UAE government announced a one-week holiday for its public sector employees on Sunday

The UAE government declared a week-long vacation for employees in the public sector. Federal government workers can participate in the celebrations from Monday, April 8, through Sunday, April 14. On Monday, April 15, regular business hours would then start again. 

Federal government employees will be given a nine-day holiday to celebrate Eid Al Fitr, which marks the conclusion of the month-long fast, as Saturday and Sunday are the official weekend days in the United Arab Emirates.
