UAE: Etihad Airways Suspends Select Flights to and from Kuwait for Four Days

Etihad Airways, the UAE's national airline, has announced the cancellation of certain flights to Kuwait over a four-day span. Flights operating between Abu Dhabi's Zayed International Airport (AUH) and Kuwait International Airport (KWI) are canceled from October 30 through November 2.

In a statement, the airline attributed the cancellations to “reasons beyond its control.” The affected flights include EY 651 from Abu Dhabi to Kuwait and EY 652 returning from Kuwait to Abu Dhabi, which will be temporarily suspended during this period.

Etihad Airways advised travelers with bookings on the affected flights to verify and update their contact information at etihad.com/manage, ensuring they receive the latest updates via SMS or email regarding any changes to their flight status.

During this period, Etihad Airways will continue to operate other flights to Kuwait from Abu Dhabi. Flights EY 657, EY 655, and EY 653 are scheduled from Abu Dhabi to Kuwait on October 30, 31, and November 1. Likewise, flights EY 656, EY 654, and EY 658 will be available for travelers flying from Kuwait to Abu Dhabi.
