NewsIn collaboration with the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security, the UAE Digital Government has unveiled a new uniform charge structure for overstaying on expired resident or visit visas in the nation. The new restrictions impose a Dh50 charge each day after the visa and any grace period given for its renewal have expired.
To help international residents and visitors, the Digital Government recommends visiting the Authority's website as well as the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai's website. These websites give detailed information on visa service fees, such as the price of granting, extending, or cancelling visas.
Applications for entrance and visa permits can be submitted via the Authority's website, smart app, Dubai Now, and authorised typing facilities. The UAE Digital Government has designated electronic channels for visa applications in an effort to simplify the visa application process. These channels, which are available on both the Google and Apple shops, allow you to apply for admission permission or a residency permit.
Individuals who prefer direct submission of their applications can do so through registered typing centres with the Authority or typing centres certified by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, according to the Digital Government. The applicant receives a letter of approval together with the original entrance permit after submitting and being approved of the application at these centres.
