According to the IMD World Talent Report, which was released on Thursday, the United Arab Emirates rose five spots to rank as the 17th most talent-competitive nation in the world, surpassing some of the developed economies like Canada, the United States, France, and the United Kingdom.
The UAE is even higher in the sub-index of appeal, moving up four spots to 12th, which shows how much a nation leverages its foreign talent pool. This shows that the UAE enjoys strong appeal among professionals around the world, thanks to the tax-free income and career opportunities it offers.
In the'readiness' factor, the UAE performed exceptionally well, rising from third in 2020 to second in 2024 after falling to seventh in 2022. The UAE led the Arab world in the World Talent Report 2024 as well.
