UAE-based travellers eligible for e-visas to Japan will be able to apply from branches in Wafi Mall in Dubai, and The Mall in Abu Dhabi

Travelers from the UAE who meet the requirements for an e-visa to Japan can apply through VFS Global starting on September 1. Applications are accepted at The Mall in Abu Dhabi and Wafi Mall in Dubai.

The visa application centers at both locations were opened on Thursday by VFS Global and the Japanese embassies in the United Arab Emirates.

Online appointments are available at no additional cost for both short- and long-term visas. In addition to the visa fees, all applicants must pay a Dh100 service fee at the centers.
