Public sector employees in the UAE will benefit from a four-day weekend during this year's National Day celebrations, now referred to as Eid Al Etihad.The government announced that December 2 and 3, which fall on Monday and Tuesday, will be official paid holidays for public sector workers.
With the inclusion of the Saturday-Sunday weekend, the holiday extends into a four-day break. Regular working hours will resume on Wednesday, December 4. A unified holiday policy in the UAE ensures that both public and private sector workers receive equal holiday entitlements throughout the year.
