UAE 52nd Union Day Holiday; ITC Abu Dhabi announced the timings, operation of its customer happiness centres, parking, toll gates, public buses

On the occasion of the UAE 52nd Union Day, Abu Dhabi's Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) published the schedule and operation of its customer satisfaction centres, parking, toll gates, and public buses.

Parking for MAWAQiF will be free starting on Saturday, December 2, 2023, and will last until Tuesday, December 5, at 7:59 a.m. Also, during the official holiday, parking at the Musaffah M-18 truck parking lot will be free of charge. The ITC advises motorists to refrain from parking in forbidden spots and to act in a way that would impede traffic flow. Additionally, from 9 p.m. to 8 p.m., the ITC asks vehicles to avoid parking in residential parking spots and to park appropriately in the approved parking zones.

Additionally, the ITC has declared that on Saturday, December 2, the Darb toll gate system would be free of charge in observance of the holiday. On Tuesday, December 5th, during peak hours (from 7am to 9am and from 5pm to 7pm), toll gate costs will once again be in effect.

Regarding public bus services and timetables in the Abu Dhabi emirate throughout the vacation, the ITC said that more regional and intercity journeys would be conducted by bus services in accordance with the schedule that is followed on weekends and official holidays. Additionally, on the Union Day holiday, the service will run extra trips to and from the Sheikh Zayed Festival.

Starting on Saturday, December 2, the ITC Customer Happiness Centres will be closed for the holiday. Operations will resume on Tuesday, December 5. Customers may still apply for ITC services online, nevertheless, using the "TAMM" platform for digital government services in Abu Dhabi, the ITC website, www.itc.gov.ae, Darbi, and Darb websites and applications.
