Traffic plan announced as Sheikh Zayed Road transforming into a giant running track for the Dubai Run on November 26

The Dubai Run is scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 26. The emirate's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) released a traffic plan for the massive event on Friday. Sheikh Zayed Road will be transformed into an enormous running track for the event.

Other important roads in Dubai, including Sheikh Zayed Road, would also be off-limits to motorists, according to the government. According to the RTA, passengers using public transportation are recommended to have at least Dh15 on their Nol cards for a round-trip travel.

The month-long Dubai Fitness Challenge will culminate with Dubai Run, which is regarded as the largest free fun run in the world. Dubai Run set a new record for participation last year with 193,000 runners, joggers, walkers, and wheelchair users, making it the world's largest community fitness event.
