Three-week spring break for UAE schools from March 25 to coincide with Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr

The UAE school calendar that has been approved for the current academic year states that schools will be on holiday for three weeks starting on March 25. The vacation, which falls between Eid Al Fitr and Ramadan, will extend until April 14. The reopening of schools will be on April 15.

Students at Dubai's private schools were already informed by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) via their website that courses will resume on April 15. The regulator added that June 28 is the latest day the academic year will expire.

The second semester began on January 2 and ran for fifty-nine days.

This year, Ramadan is most likely to begin on March 11 or 12, while the Eid Al Fitr celebrations are most likely to start on April 8 or 9. After the moon is sighted, the official dates will be established closer to the holidays. As soon as the UAE authorities make their announcement, KHDA will publicise these dates.
