The third season of the DP World ILT20 begins on Saturday, January 11.
From Saturday, January 11 to Sunday, February 9, six teams from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah will battle for the title.
Following T20 rules, the cricket competition is a much faster-paced version of the game, with each team only having one innings and play lasting no more than 20 overs.
For the month-long league, teams with both local Emirati talent and prominent international names have been confirmed.
The teams are the Sharjah Warriorz and Gulf Giants from Sharjah, the Dubai Capitals and Gulf Giants from Dubai, the Au Dhabi Knight Riders and the defending champions MI Emirates from Au Dhabi.
