The world’s largest aquarium at Endless Ocean Zone on Yas Island houses more than 68,000 marine animals

The next-generation marine life theme park on Yas Island is split into 8 realms.  The 183,000 sqm theme park thus split offers a diverse range of experiences, entertainment and education on marine life.

The Endless Ocean, one of the eight kingdoms, is home to the biggest multi-species marine aquarium in the world. The zone is astounding, with more than 68,000 marine species in 25 million gallons of water. While the "observation deck" with its enormous circular glass offers a breathtaking show of marine life in its natural habitat, there is also a sea base that resembles a cave where you can get up close and personal with sharks, rays, crabs, lobsters, octopus, and many types of fish. Additionally, there is a little glass tunnel that provides a 360-degree view of the aquarium and marine life. Given that sharks with razor-sharp teeth frequently pass through, this will undoubtedly be a popular location for selfies.

Miral in partnership with SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment was developed by SeaWorld Abu Dhabi. It is the first new SeaWorld Park in 30 years and the first outside the US.  There are seven more realms, other than Endless Ocean: Arctic and Antarctica (both in Polar Ocean), Abu Dhabi Ocean, One Ocean, MicroOcean, Tropical Ocean, Rocky Point, and Ocean.

The Abudhabi Ocean

The marine voyage begins at the Abu Dhabi Ocean, which offers a fascinating look at the marine ecology of the Arabian Gulf and a window into the colourful past of Bedouin families who combed the seas for priceless pearls to trade. Visitors may interact with rays, sharks, and crustaceans in four touch pools. A dugong, sea turtle, and indigenous fish species can also be seen. Before entering One Ocean and the other six kingdoms, which all provide a variety of food options, there are shows for amusement and education, a souk, and restaurants where you can refuel.

One Ocean

One Epic Ocean Spectacular, an immersive narrative telling told on a circular screen of 218m and 15m in height using high-resolution footage in 360-degree format, is located here at the park's focal point. The Animal Care Centre is a must-visit location in this area since it provides an up-close view of the top-notch techniques the care staff uses. On-site instructors, specialists, and veterinarians are available to address any questions about medical care and treatment.

Micro Ocean

Mini explorers will learn, be inspired, and have fun in the vibrant area with lots of rides and interactive features. The enormous playground of amusements and instructive activities is planned to provide a rewarding experience for everyone. Although the zone wasn't operational when I was there, staff members have described it as the greatest spot for kids and families.

Rocky Point

There is a short preview of things to come since it is a stunning hidden cove located in the US Pacific Northwest. Once inside, you'll see sea lions relaxing on rocks and having fun in the water much like they would in the wild. Feeding harbour seals and California sea lions is part of the experience in this area.

Tropical Ocean

This is the largest zone of the park with natural sunlight falling in. There is a flamingo point where the flamboyant birds attract the attention of visitors. A short walk will take you to a 2,000-seating capacity Amphitheatre for the dolphin show. With an underwater dining area, visitors can observe dolphin action from both above and below the sea. The Manta Coaster, the first zero-gravity flip-out, first twisting double-down dive, and ride with the most airtime moments in the area, is also located in this zone.

Arctic and Antarctica

The Polar Ocean is the only realm with realms within it where visitors can experience the vibrancy and feel of the North Pole’s Arctic Ocean. There are the playful sea otters, who are thriving in their natural habitat, and a few walruses and seals enjoying their time in deep waters and making an appearance every now and then. The Antarctica region is getting ready for a penguin encounter, a once-in-a-lifetime chance to interact with these charming, flightless birds and discover more about the fascinating species.
