The UAEs armed forces displayed their military might and advanced defensive capabilities

In the presence of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the nation's armed forces demonstrated their sophisticated defence capabilities on Sunday, providing the audience with a magnificent display of military power. During the exercise, land, sea, and air troops faced a number of extremely difficult conditions and intricate situations in simulated combat scenarios.

The show also included the K9, cavalry, and paratrooper groups. The UAE's military forces were on display, demonstrating their preparedness for any type of conflict, from camouflaged ground soldiers brandishing sniper rifles to navy officers wading through water.

The President commended the Armed Forces and security forces on this occasion for their high level of readiness, the advanced training of their personnel and units, and their advanced capabilities. He said that the Armed Forces would always stand as a testament to the honour and resiliency of the country, having devotedly defended the UAE's progress for decades.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed also praised the security services for their diligent work maintaining public safety and security. He conveyed his gratitude and admiration for their devoted national service.

Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court; Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; and Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi, were among the Sheikhs, ministers, and high-ranking state officials who attended the Union Fortress 9 military parade.

Along with a number of high-ranking officials, invitees, and members of the public, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, and Issa Al Mazrouei, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, were also present.
