The number of riders who used public transport means during the Eid Al Adha holidays reached 6 million

The number of riders who utilised public and shared transportation, as well as taxis, during the Eid Al Adha 1444H holiday (27-30 June 2023) reached 6.396 million, a 14 percent rise over the previous year's figure of 5.615 million passengers. The metro served 2.388 million riders, during the holidays, on both the Red and Green Lines. Meanwhile, the tram serviced 104 thousand riders, public buses served 1.409 million riders, marine transport 260 thousand commuters, and taxis provided service to 1.973 million passengers. Shared mobility means also provided transportation services to up to 261 thousand users.
