Headliners at upcoming events at The Irish Village include boyband Blue from the 2000s and legendary girl group B*Witched.
On Friday, October 25, the venerable Al Garhoud venue will commemorate its 28th birthday with Kezia Gill, Jade Helliwell, and Gina Larner.
There will be Irish dancers that evening, naturally, and admission is free. Drinks will cost Dhs 35.
Billy Ocean and the Irish female group B*Witched, the creative force behind the smash song "Blade It on the Weatherman" from the 1990s, will be the next act to perform (though we doubt he's done anything wrong in sunny Dubai).
The songs "To You I Belong" and "C'est La Vie were also the band’s hits.
The event will be held at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium on Friday, November 22. Ground standing tickets are Dhs 225 and sat grandstand tickets are Dhs 199.
On Saturday, December 14, Blue will perform with 90s R&B icons Forever at the same location and at the same cost.
