Dubai will host the first World Padel League from June 8 to June 11, 2023, which will include world champions of the game. The competition will be hosted in the Coca-Cola Arena and is being put on with the help of the Dubai Sports Council, the Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), and Dubai Calendar.
The World Padel League, dubbed the "Greatest Show on Court," would feature 24 of the sport's top personalities participating in an original structure with four teams: The Jaguars, The Panthers, The Tigers, and The Cheetahs.
The top-ranked players in the world, Alejandra Salazar Bengoechea and Gemma Triay, as well as Ariana Sanchez and Paula Josemara, who are all rated No. 3, will all be competing. Agustin Tapia, who is ranked third in the men's category, and Arturo Coello, who is rated fourth, are two further famous athletes.
Beatriz Gonzalez and Marta Ortega, both rated No. 5 in the women's category, as well as Carlos Daniel Gutierrez, who is now ranked No. 5, are also competing. These elite athletes will demonstrate their talents in demanding battles over the course of four days, giving viewers nonstop action and enjoyment.
The first World Padel League is expected to increase the emirate's reputation as a major athletic hub.
The World Padel League will include three stunning concerts with well-known worldwide performers in addition to intense padel bouts. The 8th of June will see Emirati singer Shamma Hamdan take the stage to enthral music lovers. Shamma is a rising star in the Khaliji music scene and the first Emirati woman to go to the finals of Arabs Got Talent. When he plays at the event on June 9th, British soul and pop group Simply Red will make their long-awaited comeback to Dubai after 20 years.
Simply Red's performance is sure to be a memorable feature of the event as they have Top 10 UK Singles Chart hits to their name. Award-winning Bollywood songwriter, composer and performer Mithoon will take the stage on 11 June. He will be joined by Indian playback singers Javed Ali, Mohammed Irfan, Asees Kaur, Abhishek Nailwal, Nakash Aziz, and Vishal Mishra for an evening filled with the biggest Bollywood hits of the last decade.
