The biggest edition of the Dubai Airshow will begin on November 13 at DWC

The largest edition of the Dubai Airshow, the world's premier event for the aerospace, space, and defence industries, will open at Dubai World Central (DWC) on Monday, November 13, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The event which will run until November 17 will uncover future trends and further prospects in the aviation, space, and military industries. Industry trailblazers and innovators will come together for the 18th edition of the event, under the theme "The Future of the Aerospace Industry."

More than 300 international speakers, together with more than 1,400 exhibitors from 95 countries, will come together to promote cooperation and technical progress, investigate the newest trends, and push the limits of sustainable innovation for the future.

The much-awaited flying and static exhibits will return to the 18th edition, one of the most significant gathering places for worldwide ecology. This year’s static exhibition will set a new standard, exhibiting over 180 commercial aircraft, maintaining its standing as one of the most remarkable methods for manufacturers to showcase their aircraft talents to the worldwide aviation, aerospace, space, and defence industries.

Concurrently, Beond, the initial high-end leisure airline globally, will actualize its innovative concept by showcasing its cutting-edge Airbus A319 on static display, together with many other top-performing aircraft from the industry.

Visitors will be able to take a look into the future of aerospace at the newly constructed advanced aerial mobility exhibit. The Dubai Airshow will be the venue to see the transportation innovations that are transforming air travel, with a lineup of the newest eVTOLs, drones, and UAVs.

Electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft manufacturer Archer Aviation Inc. has announced that its Midnight aircraft will make its Middle Eastern debut. Leading industry concepts will also be on display from exhibitors, including a full-size mock-up of the all-electric Lilium Jet and Lilium NV.

In keeping with the growing interest in space exploration throughout the world, the UAE Space Agency and Dubai Airshow will collaborate to make this a bigger focal area in 2023. A special two-day conference programme and an enlarged space pavilion will be part of the mega-event, which will bring together prominent figures, government representatives, and change-makers to push the frontiers of space exploration with their vast knowledge, experience, and innovative ideas.

The UAE Space Agency will also take use of the Airshow to present its most recent endeavours and projects, such as the Space Economic Zones programme, the Planet X Challenge, and the Emirates Mission to the Asteroid Belt.

Dubai Airshow will also showcase the most recent developments in environmentally friendly aviation fuel and greener aviation technologies during the UAE's Year of Sustainability.
