The Arabian Tahr project was inaugurated on Friday

The Arabian Tahr project, which is part of the new Al Hefaiyah Mountain Conservation Centre extension in Kalba, was officially opened on Friday by Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Sharjah and Member of the Supreme Council. The project's goal is to create a sizable natural habitat for the endangered Arabian Tahr breed.

Additionally, he opened the deer canopy area, which runs along to the Al Hefaiyah Protected Area and offers guests a platform with shade on which to view the deer.

Mountain animals from about thirty distinct species may be found in the Al Hefaiyah Protected Area. Situated at the base of the Al Hajar Mountains, close to Kalba, the Al Hefaiyah Mountain Conservation Centre is well-known for its rich biological diversity. Its diverse array of flora and fauna showcases the region's singularity as well as the harmony and integration of its natural elements.

The Minister of Health and Prevention, Abdul Rahman bin Mohammad bin Nasser Al Owais, as well as other high-ranking officials, department heads, directors, and prominent citizens of the city followed Sheikh Sultan.
