The 9th Dubai International Project Management Forum will take place at Madinat Jumeirah from January 15 to 18

The 9th Dubai International Project Management Forum (DIPMF), with the theme "Beyond Boundaries," will be held in Madinat Jumeirah from January 15–18, 2019, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai said on Tuesday.

The annual high-level event is coordinated by RTA in association with the Project Management Institute (PMI), Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa), and DP World, and is hosted under the auspices of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council.

Experts from both domestic and foreign fields will be present at DIPMF, sharing their knowledge and perspectives on project management and operations in compliance with international norms and practices. Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, the first woman from the United Arab Emirates to hold a ministerial position, is on the list. She began her career as the Minister of Economy in 2004 and went on to hold positions as Minister of Foreign Trade, Minister of Development and International Cooperation, and Minister of State for Tolerance.

Mattar Al Tayer, Commissioner General for Infrastructure, Urban Planning and Wellbeing Pillar, and RTA director general, chairman of the Board of Executive Directors; Saeed Al Tayer, Dewa managing director and CEO; David Coulthard, former Formula 1 Grand Prix driver; Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman and CEO of DP World; Mohamed Ali Alabbar, founder and managing Director of Emaar Properties; Hamed Ali, CEO of Dubai Financial Market and Nasdaq Dubai; Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi; Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, founder and chairman of Al Habtoor Group and Salem Humaid Al Marri, director general of the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre; will all be present at DIPMF.
