The 20th edition of Automechanika Dubai will be held at Dubai World Trade Centre from 2nd-4th October

The largest edition in the show's two-decade history will take place from October 2–4 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), according to the organisation behind Automechanika Dubai, the largest international trade expo for the automotive aftermarket business in the Middle East and Africa. More than 1,800 exhibitors from more than 60 countries will present a wide range of cutting-edge goods, services, and innovations during the historic 20th edition of Automechanika Dubai in front of a large international audience.

The show will take up 14 halls at the DWTC this year and include 20 official nation pavilions, which represents a 63 percent net square-meter increase compared to 2022. This year's expo will continue to build on its reputation as a significant networking hub for the automotive aftersales business.

As automotive aftermarket experts from all over the world evaluate the disruptive impact that electric vehicles (EVs) are playing within the industry, sustainability will constitute a primary focus at Automechanika Dubai 2023. This comes after the UAE government's National Electric cars Policy was recently amended, which calls for a 50% rise in the number of cars on the nation's roadways by the year 2050. As attendees discover relevant business prospects, share information, and create new connections, new event elements like Innovation4Mobility and the Lubricants Technology Conference will also highlight how the industry is attempting to reduce its environmental effect.

The 20th Automechanika Dubai will build on the exhibition's record-breaking success in 2022, which drew 1,145 exhibitors and 42,937 attendees from 145 nations. Nearly a third (32%) of attendees at the exhibition last year were C-suite executives and managing directors, followed by business development and sales (30%) and procurement and buying staff (8%).

A number of new event components planned for Automechanika Dubai 2023 are intended to encourage knowledge sharing and the discovery of potential business prospects. As part of Innovation4Mobility, attendees will examine cutting-edge trends in autonomous, connected, and climate-neutral mobility on the first day of the exhibition. Expert speakers will discuss sustainability-related topics including EV charging infrastructure, battery recycling, and green investment options at this event, which is sponsored by Associate Sponsor HELLA.

The Lubricants Technology Conference, funded by Associate Sponsor Chempol, will cover a variety of segment-specific topics on day two of Automechanika Dubai 2023, including digitalization, cold blending technologies, and the avoidance of corrosion in EV drivetrains. Additionally, this year's event will feature the Automechanika Dubai Awards, which will honour excellence throughout the MENA region, the Automechanika Academy, an interactive learning and networking hub, AfriConnections, a platform that links African consumers with global suppliers, Modern Workshop, a programme that helps workshops, garages, and repair centres become future-ready, and the PitStop Challenge, which gives auto industry professionals the chance to showcase their skills.

Eight specialised Product Sections - Parts & Components, Electronics & Systems, Accessories & Customising, Tyres & Batteries, Car Wash & Care, Oils & Lubricants, Diagnostics & Repair, and Body & Paint - will also be part of the 20th edition of Automechanika Dubai, providing something for every interest.
