The 12th edition of the International Government Communication Forum, 2023 will take place on September 13-14

The 12th edition of the International Government Communication Forum (IGCF 2023) will be held on September 13-14 at the Expo Centre Sharjah, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammad AlQasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, according to the Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB).

The forum, themed 'Today's Resources, Tomorrow's Wealth,' brings together the experiences and talents of thought leaders, thinkers, and specialists in government communication, both locally and internationally. The two-day event will emphasise the importance of managing and exploiting a country's natural and man-made resources as drivers of success as well as inclusive and sustainable global growth.

An initiative of SGMB, the 12th edition, organised by the International Government Communication Centre (IGCC),  will explore the prospects of investing in resources of the future and the shift from merely owning natural resources to owning real wealth. The forum will examine the role of government communication in redefining existing and emerging assets through a jam-packed agenda divided into four major axes: natural resources; non-material resources such as culture, arts, and sports; technology and data (wealth of the era); and future wealth.
